True Meaning Of Friendship In George And Lennie's Relationship

Friendship
George and Lennie’s relationship shows us the true meaning of friendship. In the entire book, George and Lennie take care of one another. They also express the same dream of living of the fatta of the land. The two support one another in striving after their dream. Lastly George and Lennie make very important and sometimes regretful sacrifices for one another/are responsible for each other. These things are the three ways how George and Lennie have a relationship that shows the readers the true meaning of what a friendship is. George and Lennie take care for one another by these three examples. On page 15 in Of Mice and Men, Lennie tell George, “I got you and you got me.” If that isn’t true friendship then I don’t know what is.
