True Love In Shakespeare's Romeo And Juliet

Is love really that strong? Nobody seems to have a problem saying I hate some, but do they really take the time to think do I really hate them? Most people don’t, the same way with love. Think about Romeo and Juliet, they fell in love and were married in three days. If you really love someone, you will know it. That doesn’t mean, just because you really like someone doesn’t mean you love them. Love is a strong word, but so is hate.

In the movie Romeo and Juliet, Juliet is a 13 year old girl who at the beginning of the story didn’t believe in love and marriage. Juliet had a mother and she had the nurse, who was just like a second mother to Juliet. Juliet and the nurse did a lot together and the nurse helped Juliet out with a lot of different

The first major one was the potion. I believe potion was a big one because Romeo and Juliet both “died” from drinking it. The potion actually just put Juliet to sleep so they all thought she was dead and they put her in the grave. Romeo went into her grave and found her laying there. He as well thought she was dead, so he drank the potion that was in his picket so he wouldn’t have to live without Juliet. It pretty much just represents the foolishness of the Capulet and the Montague’s feud and the stupidity of violence. In The Notebook the biggest symbol is the old oak tree. The old oak tree represents Ally and Noah’s first feeling of love. The heart with the words Noah loves Ally carved into them represent the early love and the last time they seen each other before Ally went back to her original home. In both stories the letters were a symbol. I think it’s important because in Romeo and Juliet the letter didn’t get to Romeo and in The Notebook, Ally’s mom hid the letters that Noah sent her so Ally couldn’t read them. Love was also another very important one. They were all willing to give up so much for the ones they

The incident caused Lord and Lady Capulet to distrust Romeo, fanning their urge to marry Juliet to Paris instead of Romeo (Act 5 Scene 3, 233-238). I devised a plan with Juliet to overthrow the marriage to Paris the next day, by giving her a potion that allowed her to fake death. I sent a letter to Romeo, informing him of the plan, but as fate would have it, the letter never reached Romeo (Act 5 Scene 3, 243-251). Romeo, ignorant of the plan, came to see Juliet and thought she had died. Romeo consumed a poison and when Juliet awoke, she took a dagger to kill herself.…

Infatuation and love are two vastly different types of affection that most people get confused between. It is likely to occur more so among a boy and a girl when they are young and inexperienced as opposed to when they’re grown and matured. Infatuation can easily be mistaken for love in many cases. In Romeo and Juliet infatuation is mistaken for love by the both of them, for what they had between them was not love due to the fact that they were not mature enough, love takes time to develop, and because it was based on physical attraction.
