Love is a complex emotion and the idea of wanting someone can sometimes replace the feeling of true love. In Shakespeare's comedic tragedy Much Ado About Nothing, Hero and Claudio aren't in love, they don't ever get to know each other but only fall in love with each others looks and the idea of the other. They fall in love with the idea of having someone to care about. They fall apart easily and give up without fighting for each other. True love is caring and it is something worth fighting for. They aren't in love because they don't know each other, they don't spend the time to get to know each other before getting married, and spending their lives together. They are too quick to get married and don't spend the proper time with each other
