Is True Love False? Love: one of the most commonly used words in the English language and yet is so individually unique. In the 2007 rendition of Jane Austen 's Mansfield Park, one of the characters describes love quite well when he notes, “There are as many forms of love as there are moments in time.” In other words, love is alive and is constantly changing from moment to moment, person to person. A common misconception is that true love is a fluttery feeling that two people share and each individual is the epitome of perfection in the other 's eyes.
