There are many differences between true love and infatuation. Love is a slow process because the two people are getting to know each other. But, infatuation happens quickly and the two people do not know each other well. Love is when a person wants what is best for their partner because they consider the needs and wants that their partner has. But, infatuation is when a person wants what is best for themselves because they do not care about their partner’s needs and wants. Love is a deeper connection because a couple would have feelings for each other. However, infatuation is based on appearance because a couple love each other based on their looks. Romeo decides to attend the Capulet’s party without an invitation from the Capulets because he wanted to get a good glimpse of Rosaline that he has a crush on.
