True Grit (2010), written by Ethan and Joel Cohen, is a movie about a girl who is very upset because her father was murdered, so she sets out on a journey with a U.S. Marshal and Texas Ranger to find her father’s killer so that she could have her revenge by killing him. She ends up getting into some tough situations that the U.S. Marshal and Texas Ranger have to help her with. Through all of this the actor who plays the young girl has very good dialogue, costume, and cinematography. Maddie Ross, played by Hailee Steinfield, is the young, 14 year old girl. Hailee shows that she is small but is very smart. She reveals this in the way she talked. She speaks fast, with strong vocabulary. She also had the weakest accent of the three main characters,
