True Courage Definition

As she jumps out of the window and starting heading to the next building the people below look in awe and in an astonishment, with a light breath they whisper “ she is so courageous.” Courage is something that just slips out of peple mouth without realizing what true courage means. L.Frank Baum, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz; states that, "There is no living thing that is not afraid when it faces danger. The true courage is in facing danger when you are afraid". What this refers is that when you are being afraid is ok and not cowardly but as well as not courageous; it simply means as not being afraid. But when people face their fears even when people get scared it is true courage because everyone get’s scared sometimes.

What I think of true courage is when people help other people or do something even though they might get prosecuted for it. As well as when people do what they are needed to do for our country and other important things with fear. But also in the Bible it reads that people do not have to be afraid because God is with them; “Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.” Isaiah 54:4 NIV Many people measure

The right way to measure courage is to think about what they do and why and in what way they did it. Many people do stupid things in making other people think they are doing something courageous. But in reality they do those things to get the attention they never received. But people may ask how are they or others can display true courage. Many display true courage in many different examples but the why how people show true courage is when they show they care and they do not do it for pure attention but out of kindness out of their
