Troyal Garth Brooks: Pursuing Country Music

Country music superstar Troyal Garth Brooks is better known as Garth Brooks. With a story in the music industry, Garth finds himself pursuing country music. Starting at a young age Garth sang to perform and always had to be the center of attention. Garth has a huge love for family and friends; the music was just a hobby. Numerous albums and music awards made Brooks the king of country music. Garth brooks behind the microphone shows a heart made up of childhood memories, life with family and a music career, as well as future exceptions in life.

Garth had the pleasure of freeing Sandy’s hand from the wall, where they traded conversations that led them to casually hanging out on campus at Oklahoma State University where they both attended college. When Garth found his love for singing his immediately left for Nashville, but he did not know it was going to be a disaster back in 1985. The big city was not as much of a dream as he thought. A year later he married Sandy Mahl and gathered up a band that would be called “Santa Fe.” When the band and Garth left for Nashville for their first and his second time, the band fell apart in scarce, but Garth stayed to pursue his tradition. It took a year until Garth was signed with Capital Records on the 17th of June in 1988, because of a special night when Shults, an employee at capitol records, was in the audience at Bluebird Café where Brooks had a gig. Shults wanted to meet with Garth, because he believed the company made a mistake for not signing Garth the first time he came to audition. In 1989 Brooks sold his first album containing “If Tomorrow Never Comes” and “The Dance” that quickly hit the top of the charts, and he became one of the best-selling solo artists among the country artists.
