It was one week after New Years at Snow Creek Mousseri. I got there at 6:30am. I paid for the pass and got ready to go in the snow. This was my 2nd day snowboarding so I didn’t know much. I was wearing a blue NorthFace coat and jacket under with a shirt under that, snowmobile gloves, two pairs of wool socks, brown Burton snowboard boots and a black Morrow snowboard. It was eight degrees fahrenheit. It felt like it was as cold as Antarctica, although once I had everything on I was almost sweating.

I learned that if there is a lot of people and you are just a beginner, just stay on something that is more of your comfort until you are ready to move up. I think that one sprain got me into snowboarding even more, now all I think about is snowboarding and I just can’t wait to get back out there. Sure I’m probably going to get into a bigger or worst injury but I don’t care because it will keep me going, I want to have more injuries because I know it will keep me
