Patton) When Junior Soldiers think about command, typically the thought process is to assume sergeant fist classes, higher enlisted and officers. However, the command team can involve members of any rank depending on mission needs. Every mission, should have a good command team with excellent communication skills that possess the ability to listen to one another during any stressful situation. All members on the team need to be exemplary, and possess the right attributes and core competencies, to develop concepts on follow up missions. Commanders and staff members need to have the knowledge and ability to use their plethora of military tools that are provided for them. The TLP is a format of guidelines to follow to increase the success of the mission and reduce the number of casualties on the battlefield. Mission, needs to get accomplished, the TLP is used to analyze, plan and prepare for operations.
