The troofaloofs were a happy civilization, full of people and homes, animals and plants, and much work needing to be done. During this time period, food was scarce and winter has just begun. Everyone was starting to lose hope. The green grass has turned brown. Homes are getting eaten by snow. If not done quick, the entire village will be engulfed by snow.

They started to glow and immense pain dwelled within their bodies. All of a sudden, the snow was lifted, the homes were fixed, and plants have grown. The troofaloofs were amazed with the sheer power the truffles could do together. The elder decided to meet up again with a sneaky plan to gain more power and resources. The greed overflowed in him and in the other troofaloofs.
“Now, you will continue to serve us in order to avoid more intense punishment. You will become our power, our workforce, and our base. You must work everyday for the rest of your lives,” said the elder.
The truffles tried to retaliate but instead ended with scars and injuries. They had to follow the orders of the troofaloofs in order to survive. As the days past, the village grows and expands thanks to the truffles, which don’t get anything in return, unless pain counts. The life force of every truffle is being used up in the troofaloof’s favor. Days turn into weeks, weeks turn into months, and months turn into years.
