tronic media, people’s health have been gradually deteriorating. First of all, according to Maureen Mackey of ‘The Fiscal Times’, the National Sleep Foundation’s 2014 Sleep in America poll surveyed more than 1,00 parents to estimate how much sleep their children usually get on school-nights. It was estimated that ages 6-10 receive 8.9 hours; ages 11-12 receive 8.2; ages 13-14 receive 7.7 hours; and ages 15-17 receive 7.1 hours. On the contrary, experts recommend way more; 10-11 hours of sleep for ages 6 to 10 and 8.5 to 9.5 hours for children in the other age-groups. The parents also reported that almost 75% of the children ages 6-17 have at least one electronic device in their bedroom, and most of those children use those devices

In “Our Kids need more sleep”, by Valerie Erde, it is explained that children need more sleep to do well in school. It has a couple of studies that say that children with more sleep do better in school, and are more alert in general. I completely agree with the author. I feel that if middle to high school students were allowed more time to sleep, it would improve most aspects of their life during school days. I know for sure that on the weekends, when I sleep in, I am in an all around better mood, and I am alert and ready for the day.…

As a media expert, I would like to analyze communication strategies used by GRNSW and ARO in response to recent media controversy. Here we are categorizing types of media into three categories which are traditional media, mass media, and online media. First let’s have a look from the GRNSW’s side. For traditional media they are focusing on the main event itself, march with main agendas to apologize to public by GRNWS’s leader due to recent scandal live baiting issues as well as to announce the new board within the body of GRNSW. The march will be centralized in Sydney CBD and ended in Parliament House, with agendas of march to be followed by speeches from Key Opinion Leader participating in event.…

According to an article found on the NPR website, “Pediatricians Say School Should Start Later for Teens’ Health,” written by Nancy Shute, beginning school too early in the day harms student health and academic capabilities. “...making middle and high schoolers start classes before 8:30 a.m. threatens children's' health, safety and academic performance.” Dr. Cora Breuner, specialist at Seattle Children’s Hospital, stated that children are not getting near the required amount of sleep each night. Due to the early start times, teenagers, on average, are getting somewhere between six to seven hours of sleep per night while they should be getting around eight to ten. One of my favorite scenes in the movie “Trumbo”, was when Trumbo and Eddie had a tensed moment, since Eddie was at fault for the imprisonment of Trumbo and other people. At first, I had thought to myself that I wouldn’t have liked this film. But it turned out that it became one of my favorite films, if not, my favorite film of all time. Sure, we know that the stimulating effect of caffeine is part of the equation, but most of us have no idea of the side effects of caffeine are nor how profoundly our buzz of choice has affected our brains.
