Troden's Sacrifice: A Fictional Narrative

As Troden was sharpening his blade, Jade and Joseph were getting ready for the day. Troden asked "do you guys want tom play Frisbee?", they both didn't seem interested. Jade brushed her long velvety hair, while staring at her reflection. Joseph combed his black bushy hair. Troden took some hair gel and put his hair in a neat style. Joseph strutted in the kitchen to the smell of crisp centipede.
As Joseph was walking to the kitchen he heard a shriek coming for the living room. All three of them raced to the living room in panic, and saw their friend moaning on the couch in pain. Jade called the doctor swiftly. The doctor arrived in a flash and checked her heart beat. "This isn't good”, said the doctor scarcely. 'What is it!” yelled Jade.

They stopped to get a swig of water. They heard a rustling noise coming from the ground. A centipede lunged out. "That thing is huge!" replied Troden. "We can take it on!" Jade said. Joseph was pale from fear and could not move. Jade threw her spear trying to hit the centipede. Joseph fired his arrows, missing each shot. Finally Troden grabbed hold of its tale and slashed his sword fiercely until the beast fell. They sprinted towards enchanted forest, running ignoring each threat. They reached the forest but suddenly stopped. It was dark and full of mystical creatures roaming its grounds. They could not move until they spotted something glimmering in the forest. They touched the glimmering object, and soon found out it was the head of an angry golem who roared in anger. They slashed and hit him with their weapons but nothing happened, the monster seemed invincible. "I have an idea!" said jade. " Well what is it?" asked both of the boys confused. " That stone must be its weak spot". Jade lost her spear and Trodens sword was no good. They both looked at Joseph who only had one arrow left. "You only have one shot!" yelled Jade. Joseph quivered in fear as he pulled back the string. The beast started running closer and closer. Joseph could not move. "Come on Joseph you can do it!" yelled Troden and Jade. Joseph manned up and aimed his bow. He let go of the string. The arrow spanned in the air. They all watched, as the arrow got closer to the beast. They

During the twentieth century, author William Golding produced one of the most groundbreaking novels of the era, “Lord of the Flies,” confronting the psychological aftermath of World War Two. Published in 1954, in the midst of crisis among the nation, Golding sets “Lord of the Flies” in the backdrop of an atomic war, in which a group of young boys deserted on an island, due to a plane crash, fear an imaginative creature they call “the beast.” Symbolizing fear, war and savagery of human nature, the children dread they are unable to escape the hauntings of the beast, initially appearing only in their nightmares, but now, externalized into a never-ending terror, ineluctable by the boys, no matter their age. Primarily, only the youngest of residents on the island believe the actuality of the beast, while the more mature children simply believe the little ones are speaking of demons exclusively in their nightmares.…

The story focuses on a ten-year-old dreamer, a boy named Jesse Oliver Aarons, Jr.…
