Tritium is a waste product from nuclear power plants and is less dangerous than radium. Radium was used for illuminating light, but scientists found out that it can cause cancer. Now, Tritium is used for producing …show more content…
Many nuclear applications are for looks like the glow-in-the-dark watches, compasses, and anything else glow-in-the-dark. The non-stick pans, medical applications like x-rays, and rifle sights are very helpful and can make life easier in many ways. With using Tritium and other forms of nuclear applicators we save more energy and electricity. It doesn’t just help us look cooler or make us able to do very easy things easier, but it helps out the economy very lightly. Many of these inventions haven’t been known to really damage lives, but help them in alarming us when there is a smoke, or the heartbeat of someone who is brutally hurt, or helping us find ways of escaping major crisis’.
If you ever noticed warnings on glow sticks they say not to eat and if you read warnings on anything else glow-in-the-dark, they would also talk about how it is dangerous if you eat or inject any of that substance. These are the only ways that any of the nuclear applications could harm you.
There are other types of applications to deal with nuclear objects. There are medical applications and industrial applications that involve diagnostics and radiation treatment and X-rays and gamma rays. Many of these nuclear products that we use in our everyday lives are caused by radiation and ionization. Many of these items are harmless to the human body and can only help us discover new inventions and make our lives
