After our first experience at Magic Mountain, my siblings and I had the bug. The thrilling, heart-beating, white-knuckled bug of high-speed, high-altitude roller coasters. We spent our entire summer of 2016 recalling our test of bravery and discussing future trips to theme parks to do it again. The day contained many great, memorable experiences, including many first-time rides for Tatum.
Since we waited to go on a Saturday, Luke, Abby, Tatum, Shane, and I endured numerous long lines. By the time the sun had set over Orange County, many of the park visitors, including my party, were making their way to that last ride of the day . Since it was the one decent ride we hadn’t been on that day, the Pony Express was our choice to be the finishing ride.
