Our group chose this project because we wanted to come up with a way to show respect. The class chose 2 different things to do one of them was go play games with the kids at Woodside or go to a nursing home. I chose to go to a nursing home and play some games with the elderly. This project is important to me because I feel whoever you are or whether or not you’re living just on your own in your old age or you’re in a retirement home you still need something happy in your life. I’m sure it gets pretty boring being in the same place all the time so I would think it's probably really uplifting when kids come in to see you and play games with you. We visited Vintage Hills nursing home in Ankeny. I thought the nursing home was very nice and all
