Going into to college I had so many emotions, questions and thoughts going into my head. For example, wondering if I am going to make friends. If I was going to finally pick a major by the end of the fall semester. Wondering how will I fit into such a big university? How difficult are the college courses compare to high school ones? Being a part of trio has really helped me answer all of these questions. The trio community has helped me realize that college is not just about homework and studying for exams. It’s about experiencing new adventures giving back to the community, exercising and meeting new people to make connections. I really feel like I’m apart of this huge family who actually care if I’m going be successful in college. Being an
