Trimethylaminuria is known as a disease that cause a person to smell like a Fish. Trimethylaminuria has the most fishy smell when someone were to sweat or breathe or any other way your body functions. It is almost impossible for someone who has this condition to live a good life and not smell like a fish. Mostly because they have to breathe. Breathing is one of the most popular ways to give off a no good fishy smell. Trimethylaminuria has not been solved by physicians or any other doctors. Physicians have found a way to help with the fishy smell. If you avoid foods with a lot of acids in them the fishy smell will not be as bad or noticeable as before.

Some main foods to avoid are Eggs, Liver, Kidney, Peas, Beans, Peanuts, and Soy products. These foods are important to avoid because Chlorine is present. Chlorine is what can cause this no good fishy smell to be more noticeable. Almost all other foods are not necessarily helpful, but they don't cause the fishy smell to be any worse than it already is.

Is there a Medicine cure?

There is not a cure for Trimethylaminuria because it is from a gene that is called FMO3. FMO3 is a gene that is not possible to medically fixed. There is ways to reduce the smell by what kind of foods you eat. The foods were discovered after a lot of people were having this problem. People with Trimethylaminuria can still live a normal life. The loss of FMO3 is the what is believed to be the main problem. Sweat is one of the most popular way to give of this fish smell.

What kind of symptoms can someone look for? The only symptom for Trimethylaminuria is a bad fishy odor. It is kind of clear when you should go to the doctor for this fish odor. It is kind of hard to miss if you smell like a bad fish, so that is really the only symptom to look for. People with the fish odor are normal besides the fish smell. Exercise is one of the problems with the smell because is causes a person to sweat and release the fish
