Trimesters at USMMA
This was my second last trimester in Kings Point. Once again my biggest concern during this trimester were the academics. I was still part of the Kings Point Eagle Scouts Association and the Kings Point Indoor Soccer Club. M/N Ong and I were roommates for a brief period, before he moved to Reg Row. I had a new roommate who suits my personality and shares a similar taste in music. That is more than what I can ask for in a roommate. My roommate during Second Classman Year, kept playing country music out loud which annoyed me a little. My roommate also introduced me to lifting. I was so out of shape after the Christmas break, and we have been hitting the gym a lot lately and plan on achieving the goals by graduation.
Best thing about the second trimester was the breaks. There were two main breaks, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I spent my Thanksgiving break at my friend’s grandmother’s house in upstate New York. I was also there for Thanksgiving during plebe year and they are very nice people. I manage to fly home for Christmas break. My family and I are very grateful that the company paid for my flight. Thank you.

There were not much activities going on with the Eagle Scout due to change in the season. There were not much activity with the Indoor Soccer Club either as we were off due to Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks. The club did manage to join a local league by the end of the trimester. I couldn’t to be part of the main team as I consistently had capstone meetings at night which conflicted with the practices. I still join in on the occasional practice to recreational purpose, but these days, I am more into lifting. My new roommate and I hit the gym consistently every other

My mother was a nurse. I’ve watched her leave at late hours in the night, early mornings, and afternoons. She ran herself to death by working to pay the bills in our house, organize amazing trips to take together , clean, and through all of that she had to find time to sleep. But, she choose to run herself because she was that compassionate about her job. She loved the feeling of helping others get better and not only did she love it, she was one of the best at it.…

I believe that Andrea’s illness post partum psychosis twisted her way of thinking to a certain degree, however; I also believe that her mental illness was not one hundred percent responsible for her actions and crimes. Her capacity to understand what she had done, was likely clouded by her Post Partum. Like any other mental illness, it can quickly take over people’s thoughts and actions, making them say and do things they never thought they would. Andrea’s illness infected her thoughts, making her believe that the only way her children could ever reach salvation was unfortunately, through death before they sinned any further. Post Partum did indeed effect Andrea’s sense of right and wrong.…
