The variable located at the left side of the diagram, the effect of malunggay and ginger root extracts is the independent variable which in being manipulated for the dependent variable, the time spent in treating the sample infected by trichophyton rubrum. The main purpose of this study is to produce an organic antibacterial treatment for Trichophyton rubrum using Malunggay (Moringa oleifera) and Ginger (Zingiber officinale). Specifically, this study aims to answer the following:
1. In which concentration of Malunggay (Moringa oleifera) leaves and Ginger (Zingiber officinale) root extract does the ointment will be the most effective?
1.1. Concentration of 10% Malunggay leaves mixed with 90% Ginger root extract.

Another study (Cardoso, G.N., et al, Investigation of the antifungal potential of linalool against clinical isolates of fluconazole resistant Trichophyton rubrum, 2017) on the activity of linalool and ketonazole with different concentrations on radial mycelia growth conidia production and conidia germination using a hemacytometer, during the 7 days of treatment, linalool caused leakage of intracellular material. In conclusion, forming of abnormal, short, wide and crooked hyphae indicating that it was antifungal and has the ability to be an effective dermatophysis agent. An investigation (Chen, H.M., et al, Anti-Fungal Activity of Crude Extracts and Essential Oil Of Moringa Oleifera Lam, 2007) stated that on both crude leaf extract and sub fractions had little effect on dermatitis considering both seed extracts and essential oil have antifungal properties on specific fungi species.
