Skill Development of Tribal Youth: A Case Study of RGNIYD and PJN College of Social Work Initiative in the State of Maharashtra

The youths are the most important and dynamic domain of the population in any society and country. In India, youth in the age group of 15-29 years comprises 27.5% of the population and contribution of these youth in India’s gross National income is 34% there is huge potential to increase the contribution of this youths in labor force and productivity. Registrar of NMU], Director of SSES, Resource Person, representatives faculty members from participating Colleges were present during the session. Falicitation of the Guest’s, Feedback by Participants, distribution of certificate of participation, Publication of Placement Broacher of College. Prof.Ambadas Mohite Highlighted the Power of Youth. Program ended with National Anthem.

Publication of Reading Material Book
Reading material on Skill Development published in the form of ISBN Book, and Titled” Soft Skills Development - Special concern to Tribal Youth”. Research person of workshop and faculty members of organizing and participative colleges contributed their articles, papers and presentations.

Feedback and Voices from the Participants
 Feedback from filled by the participants and submitted to organizers after completion of the programme.
 Overall feedback on various components is encouraging. Such as theme is relevant, Sessions conducted by resource persons was effective.
 Some of the key suggestions made by participants,
1. Duration of the programme should be longer to 3 to 5 days duration.
2. Event on cultural exchange programme should be organized.
3. Some more assignments should be given to
