Trianon organization had expected to purchase and have ownership of a business in Hungary. the business plan was unsuccessful therefore it failed. After a few years the organization finally decided to joint venture with a Hungarian Government firm. Trianon is an Anglo-French avionics firm “who has gained a reputation as high-quality, if sometimes undependable, subcontractor for major French and British aerospace defense contractors” (Dowling et al., 2013). Mackay whom became the director of personnel development for the European division of Trianon specialists in the European union after working with diverse groups. The news was received through a phone call stating that Trianon will need a Quality compliance manager for a three-year assignment in Hungary (Dowling et al., 2013). The position requirement was to fill in the position of quality compliance manager where Alistair had to decide quick to take the position.

Each candidate had its weakness and strength along with that experience and knowledge in different fields. Janos seem like a perfect choice because Gabor’s family is well connected with important government officials, especially within ministerial bureaucracies. His family having a connection can help Trianon because of his government connection. The network that Gabor brings into this deal is simply invaluable. He also won’t have a problem relocating since he is single and not much responsibility when it comes to family. He might seem like a risky choice because of he doesn’t have as many years of experiences like the other candidate but there is always room to grown and learn. Work experience abroad can be valuable for developing global competencies that promote organizational effectiveness and individual career success (Vance, 2009).
