Cardiovascular disease (cvd) was one of the major issues throughout the world causing a lot of deaths and disability. In 2013 42% people in China died because of this. High blood pressure was leading to it which eventually started with salt consumption. In China, the salt intake was greater than double the amount approved by World Health Organization (WHO). Bringing down salt intake in china is extremely hard because it all starts with salt added into the food made at home. School-based Education program to reduce salt intake in children and their families ( School-EduSalt) try a new to bring down salt usage at the same time, this can lead to lower blood pressure in the community. Trial- based analysis was conducted by using the data from the cost intervention. For this experiment 28 elementary schools were chosen in changzhi, 14 were designated to the intervention group and other half to the control group right after the baseline assessment. Children were picked from the 5 grade class from the schools. Intervention group got education on the unsafe effect of salt and also in the health classes, they got lesion on how to control their salt usage. The children were to spread this message they learned from the different experience to their family members. Few children in the intervention group had bring in the salt storages that they use at home so that the teachers can keep track of weight of it and add to the computer program. 10 children from the respected schools and 2 adults from their families were chosen to do pre- and post assessment. Total people who completed the assessment were 279 children and 553 adults with the help of the 24 hours urine sodium test. Price of the cost intervention and incremental cost-effectiveness ratio
