The difference in the way children grow up has been significantly different. These days it is not shocking to see young children wearing adult size clothing, only because they cannot fit in their range of clothing. By examining the growing number of obese children, it can be seen that obesity needs to be a top priority of province. “Since 1980, obesity has more than doubled in children and quadrupled in adolescents. Nearly a third of children and adolescents are either obese or overweight” (Czinn, 2016). This staggering statistic will hopefully bring change to this issue. And the need for active interventions to change clear trends in the children is a necessity.
