Tree Of Knowledge In The Garden Of Eden

Improved Essays
These two religions are very interesting, how someone can say them is pretty amazing. But these two religions in some ways are the same and that is what i am doing here. I will show you how they are the same and how they are different. How these two religions are the same is that they both involve some type of sacred tree that needs respect, perhaps the Tree of Knowledge in the Garden of Eden or the Tree of Nutrition in the middle of the skyland. In these stories it also shows that the girl is the one that is the fool, Like in the Garden of Eden the serpent tricked the girl into eating from the tree and making her husband do it too and in the Skyland where the guy is pressured into going to the Tree of Nutrition and get fluid from the roots

Although there are some similarities, there are also many differences. For instance, as previously explained, Mormons do not believe in the virgin birth. In the Bible, it clearly states that Jesus was born of a virgin mother, like in Matthew 1:23, or Isaiah 7:14. Both of these verses clearly articulate that Mary was a virgin, but Mormons teach otherwise. Mormons believe in what the Bible teaches for the most part, but they consider it to be lacking.…

Zoroastrianism, and its effect on Christianity Zoroastrianism is one of the world’s oldest religions, and is, in fact, the world’s oldest known monotheistic religion, generally believed to be created by Zarathustra around 1000 BCE (Bryan S. Rennie, Zoroastrianism: the Iranian roots of Christianity?, Council of Societies For the Study of Religion Bulletin 36.1, 4). The Zoroastrian influence of the Christian religion was largely transferred from earlier Zoroastrian influences of Judaism, the predecessor of Christianity.
