The organization generally meets each Thursday after school in Mrs. Condrey’s room and goes around the entire school with recycling bins, black garbage bags, and a big wagon to recycle everything from paper to batteries. The entire process depends upon how much students show up, for example ever since this year began up to twenty kids have been helping out so the process takes about 30 minutes, but I remember times last year where me and my sister would be the only members recycling and as a result it took up to 2 to 3 hours. Normally having twenty-something people recycling at the same time would be a catastrophe, but thanks to everyones cooperation we get it done as quickly and efficiently as possible. If one to observe what we do when we’re getting ready to recycle they would notice that certain parts of the group branches off, some go to retrieve the recycling bins from outside, most collect the recycle bins within the classrooms, and some stay in a section of the hall sorting out the recycle bins already present there.
