20 years later, after losing millions of people and a brutal war that lasted for 6 years. Then on September 1939 the thought of another war was unthinkable, until it happened. One of the causes was the Treaty of Versailles. Another cause is the failure of the League of Nation. The third cause an in my opinion is the main cause is Hitler breaking the Treaty of Versailles. Last but not lest is the Invasion of Poland, now this was the final straw for the League of Nations and the spark of World War 2.
The Treaty of Versailles was one of the causes because the treaty punished Germany severely, because The Big Three wanted to make Germany suffer. So the Big Three made Germany pay for the damages of World War 1, Germany payed 6.6 million dollars, and this destroyed their economy. Another outcome was the United Nations. One of the biggest effect of the work was the Soviet Union expanding. Another big effect is the Truman Doctrine. Refugees fled into countries becoming another countries fantail problem, many of the refugees became homeless. Yet there are only two out of all the countries in the war, that became richer and more powerful is the United States and the Soviet Union.
