The Holocaust lasted from 1939-1945. The treatment of the Jews during and before the war was just awful. The Jews had to wear a symbol called David's Star so the Nazi's knew they were Jewish. The Jews would hide and if they were found, the Nazi's would take them to concentration camps. It got to the point to where if Jews weren't born with blond hair or blue eyes they would kill them. The following will tell you about the treatment of Jews before and during the war.

There was a massive drop in the population of Jews in Germany before the war. Before the war, there was a population of 525,000, after the war started there was 214,000 left. If it weren't the 50% drop in the population it could've been a bigger massacre. Jews had to wear a
