An African American cannot walk into predominantly white neighborhood without be discriminated by a white person. For example, a young black male, Trayvon Martin, had his freedom to live his life taken away from him by a white man who assume that he was harmful by the clothing he was wearing and the color of his skin. The murder of Trayvon Martin was an enormous struggle for the blacks all across the world. Due to that devastating catastrophe, blacks came together and started “The Black Lives Matter Movement.” Many people believe that you don’t have to go through a struggle to experience growth. “My struggle did not help me grow it only brought me down” (Raven Aaron).However, what this argument fails to consider is in order to get through life, mistakes must be made in order to succeed. For example, people who overcome their struggles are stronger physically and mentally than someone who never experience a struggle. In conclusion, the adversity is a necessary circumstance that we as humans experience that cause us to grow. Without struggle in life there is very little room to grow or learn. Life is full of challenges, you have to decide if you will prevail over or let it conquer you. Life is what you make it. Those who analyze their struggle and decide it is a tool of learning and growth are the ones who
