This particular case has been impacted by racial disparity in many ways. This case has opened up new questions and conflicts regarding similar cases, and has certainly started a movement that questions racial disputes in America. I think this case was most affected by racial disparity during the trial, with Zimmerman being allowed to wear regular clothes and not a prison uniform, and during his reenactment he is spoken to as if he is the victim, instead of as someone who also committed a crime. This case has caused many to question if the outcome would have been different if Trayvon had been white, or even possibly if Zimmerman wasn’t white and Hispanic himself, and has made race and racism become a bigger topic for debate as similar cases…
