Travis Alexander was born and raised in Riverside, California. He and his three brothers and four sisters were taken in by his grandmother, Norma Sarvey, whom introduced them to the Mormon religion. During high school Alexander let his faith guide him. After graduating high school, he went on a two-year mission in Denver, Colorado which sparked his interested to live near a strong Mormon community. After relocating Mesa, Arizona, Travis’ faith helped him to become a successful motivational speaker, businessman and author of Raising You.
