Her character shows a history of deception and dishonesty about her accounts of that day. She had a motive as being the jealously bitter ex-girlfriend of Travis Alexander, that could not live with him dating another woman. Originally, Travis Alexander was to go on a work-related trip to Cancun, New Mexico on June 10th 2008, that he named Arias to be his companion earlier in the year, but later in April 2008 changed the reservation to another female friend. Arias was obviously aware of this and furious. Alexander never made it to that business trip. The photographs and blood-DNA make Arias’s whereabouts unmistakable. She was at the home of Travis Alexander the day he was estimated to have perished. The camera time stamps the date & time of the photos perfectly in correspondence, and there are the last remaining images found on his digital camera that shows a man to be face down in a pool of blood. Arias even admitted to murdering Travis Alexander after these photos were shockingly brought in as evidence. She claimed it was self-defense, the fact is Alexander was stabbed to death 29 times with his throat slit from ear to ear and a shot gun wound to the head with a .25 caliber-gun that matches the one Arias’s grandparents had in possession that only went missing a week earlier. The wounds were obviously not in self-defense but cold blooded
