A brief history of the author of the book: The Travels of my T-Shirt in the Global Economy. Pietra Rivoli, PHD, is a professor at McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. She specializes in international business, social issues in business and finance. Since writing this book the book has won several awards and has been translated into fourteen languages. The Travels of my T-Shirt in the Global Economy is a critically acclaimed storyline that sheds light on globalization while revealing the significant dynamics toward the success in the global business.

Which countries would come next in line to be the number one buyer? I also liked how she talks about in chapter nine when the cotton comes back to America. How hard it is getting the cotton back with many of the Chinese residence trying to get in the country illegally. I like how she sheds light on the situation (Rivoli, 2009). An ordinary person would not realize all its takes into making sure the shirt makes it back into the United States. The rules in governing a t-shirt changes almost daily. Due to this book not being for the college crowd. She could enlighten the reader on changes or improvements in sweatshops. Making it an easy task for her to continue to update on the treatment of sweatshop workers. I really would not change anything in the book. I would just update the material into some new about the experience that she would have when she traces how shoes are made or tracing products made in America and maybe comparing the work experiences and how much the individual gets paid in America and other
