Trapshooting improves lifelong skills
Trapshooting can improve skills ranging from mental skills to eyesight. Trapshooting is good for many of lifelong skills due to the concentration involved in the process of shooting a clay. First trapshooting improves your eyesight because while you are actively looking down the rib of the shotgun searching for the target, your eyes are developing concentration which improves the way you see the target (Tomas, profession in Ophthalmology). Furthermore trapshooting improves your mental skills(Health Fitness Revolution). Another thing to keep in mind is how much patience it takes to trapshoot. ”Many disabled individuals can excel in some of the highest levels of competition”-Jack Campbell.

The first reason it improves life long skills is that, according to healthfitness.org, while you are looking down the rib of a shotgun your eyes are focusing and tracking targets, which exercises your eyes therefore improving eye strength. While your eye is focusing on the rib of your gun, it enhances the target as comes out of the traphouse as well. According to ABC news while you are shooting your eyes see multiple objects at once, your eyes have to choose which object to pursue, which it can be tricky to choose the right one. While your eyes do this the began to focus more closely on the most important object (The clay target). This helps you out in everyday life because it teaches your eyes to focus in on what is important. This implies the rule that most shooters know “See the target, shoot the target”-Anonymous
