Trapping In American History

Trapping has been an important part of American history. During a war, is one of the many times people have relied on trapping to keep them and troops alive. Whether the traps were very simple or complex it still managed to get them the food they needed. Throughout history trapping has evolved into a sport, job, etc. Today many farmers either trap or, have someone trap their land for them to keep unwanted pests away from killing livestock and damaging crops. Many states in the United States now have very strict guidelines on where and what you can trap in certain areas and, only some allow strictly killing traps. According to law now to trap certain species you must obtain a trapping license to legally trap. In several instances, the population of a certain species has risen drastically, which usually tends to mean another species population has plummeted. Citizens however always feel that the food chain will keep the number of animals balanced with the others. This is not always the case because a species could perhaps start to die off from disease, therefore the species they were feeding on begins to flourish. Everyone across many counties and states coon hunting is a very well known ,but if you want to compete in these competitions you need the right dogs to train. One of the most popular coon dogs are the Bluetick Coonhound and the Redbone Coonhound, their breed is very well dependent in Coonhound competitions. Before you compete though you must train your dogs for competition. It does not take as long as most people think to train a Coonhound. If the dog is just a puppy it will take approximately one to two years for a puppy to fully catch on to hunting. If the dog is successful enough in competition they could win an abundant amount of money, depending on how big the companions
