What You Should Know About TSA When Traveling With an Infant
If there are concerns going through an airline security checkpoint with an infant, knowing how to prepare and what to expect will help alleviate anxieties. Although, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has strict rules, the TSA agent understands the necessities required for traveling with a baby. Therefore, enforcement regarding baby’s formula, food and gear has special circumstances, and a little preparation beforehand can expedite the experience.

Security Inspection of Baby Food
When arriving at the airport with an infant, allow extra time to go through the security checkpoint. Inform the TSA agent of any liquids weighing more than 3.4 ounces and disclose the location before x-ray screening. Notably, the best place for baby bottles during the security inspection is in a carry-on bag or diaper bag - easily accessible.
