Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in America has implemented a program called SPOT (Screening of Passengers by Observation Techniques), which is carried out by Behavior Detection Officers (BDO). These officers undergo through special training so that they may accurately observe and analyze passenger’s physiological and physical reactions. By using this profiling technique, it is possible to enhance security in public transportation by identifying individuals, who may carry out criminal offences.
