Even though they walk two different paths they are willing to give up everything for love and to walk one path together. Love seems to come before all. Romeo and Juliet would have been together but the choice the make affects that. The first quote that explains this is “Let Romeo hence in haste, Else, when he is found, that hour is his last. Bear hence this body, and attend our will. Mercy but murders, pardoning those that kill.” (3.2.190-193). In this quote Prince Escales banned Romeo from the town so he is unable to see Juliet. In the same sense the quote “Yea, noise? Then I’ll be brief. O happy dagger, [Taking Romeo’s dagger] This is thy sheath; [stabs herself ] there ruse, and let me die. [falls on Romeo’s body and died].
