I would also like to add that by studying abroad, not only are we exposed to a multitude of cultures and atmospheres, but we also have access to the latest technological and courses not provided by local universities. For instance, in distinguished universities such as Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), never been heard before technologies are being researched such as bionic limbs and nano-architecture. These universities also have access to the newest gadgets and apparatus, and these instrument will often dominate the global economy in the next 5-10 years. By learning the latest instruments, students will improve their marketability in the economy by the time they graduate. Studying abroad grants students the opportunity to completely immerse themselves in a new language, and there is no better way to learn than to dive right in. In addition to language practice on a daily basis, the host university will often offer language courses for a more formal education. As stated by Kavetha, multilingual graduates are prized in today's global economy. Moreover, for overseas students who are passionate about their career direction, they should apply for an internship in foreign country. In a study conducted by Transition Abroad, it has been concluded that students who studied abroad shown greater interest in the career direction pursued after internship compared to their local counterparts. In addition, a majority of the interviewee, 83 percent of them, mentioned that it allowed them to acquire proficiency that help shaped their career path, compared to 75 percent who did not intern.
