Transgenders should not have to be restrained from their preference just because people might think they are sexual predators. Our society just assumes the worst about transgender people, but really that’s just being stereotypical that’s like saying every African American is a criminal. For many transgender people it has been very complicated and one the biggest issues for them using a public bathroom and its becoming dangerous. There has actually been a survey done at UCLA university, and they found about seventy percent of trans people had experienced negative interactions in the public facilities by giving them the dirtiest looks, rude comments, and even physical violence. She was getting chased with her two other friends but she ended up getting stomped on and they beat her so bad that they broke her ribs, they ripped her wig out and her underwear. She said she couldn’t do anything because the men were pretty big and all she can do is cover her face and she mentions that the guy took out his penis and started to urinate on her. This is such a tragic story and its so many of them getting hurt no one deserves this. What really hurts me the most is what the cops told her she said that the police officer said “This would have never happened to you if you weren’t wearing a dress and trying to fool men”. You could only imagine how this woman felt after getting beaten to death and the cops have the nerve to say something so absurd and idiotic. It is so horrible that our society treats transgender people so harsh when these people have lost their jobs, families, and their homes. It’s even harder for younger children because they can be abused at school or other communities. A lifetime of being abused can be very challenging and can cause depression, anxiety disorders, and other psychological
