There have been none in the past. Stories have been fabricated by anti-LGBT groups and spread by conservative news outlets of cases in which males claiming to be transgender allegedly harassed females in restrooms. One example of this, according to a 2014 Media Matters article, is when the Christian Broadcasting Network reported that a male student pretended to be trans to harass female students. This story was determined to be false when the school superintendent was questioned and he reported no incidents of harassment at the high school. Media Matters also reported in their article what experts said from states with laws similar to this bill.
