This film was very instructional as to how much times have changed, I watched it with my mom and she was a bit shocked as to how relaxed and open minded these parents were. I was born in the 90’s and well it wasn’t something very usual and was looked at as something abnormal in many ways. Also, I come from a very traditional Mexican family that would keep this sort of situation as a family secret. I’m the more liberal side of my immediate family and I consider myself very open minded but when watching the film and getting to know these families I started to question myself as to what I would do if I was a parent of a transgender child. It would be a very tough decision to have to adapt that
