I share the same sentiments as it relates to leadership. Transformational leadership is a style that relates to how I lead. In my organization, personality goes a long way. Interpersonal skillsets and charisma can help shape and mold an organization, is something I believe to be powerful. In our audio lecture from Lesson 6, it discusses this style of leadership. It said, “Transformational leaders encourage followers to look beyond their own self-interest and focus on transcendent, meaningful goals of the organization (“Leadership”, n.d)”. All our communication in the workplace should flow from this tone. Scripture also instructs us to speak truth with our neighbors (English Standard Version, Ephesians 4:25). Gracious words filled with truth are absolutely necessary to effectively communicate. In leadership, communication is the leading tool to push people to greatness. I agree with how this is worded, “leadership communication interprets reality and, according to many scholars, forms its shared perception (Mayfield & Mayfield, 2017, p. 4)”. This implies that leaders shape and form outcomes based on the things communicated. Leaders dictate
