Transformational leadership is a process that changes and transforms individuals (Northouse 2013). Transformational leadership is the ability to motivate people to change, improve, and be led. TL is focused on the assessment of motives, needs, and values of the followers (Northouse 2013). The qualifications listed above classify Elon Musk as a Transformational Leader. He has led his followers and people to new era of technology and business a model which can change humankind for centuries to come.

His other vision that we need is a colony besides earth to live on after earth can be no longer inhabitable.
To most people, his visions are neither realistic nor believable in year 2000; Elon Musk has made them become his missions and made both become realistic. Elon goes up again most difficult issues that humankind ever dream. He start to work to share his vision with people and start to build up the team and support from zero. He started Tesla an electric car in 2003 and started Space X in 2002. Both of these projects required tremendous resources, and support from many people. He is very success to get the people and government to accept his vision (in 2005, Department of Commercial let Tesla loan $400 million to make electric car). At this point, Musk had only a few hundred dollars in the bank and could not have made payroll the next day. (Reinvent Tomorrow 2008). Also in December 24, 2008, Musk success raise money from Tesla investor to ensure Tesla and Solarcity would not surfer the bankrupts as Fisker electric car. His idea start to influence people on this day forward and he could become the most influence person in our generation if his idea continues to develop and carry into the future. Elon is a person with thinking about future and not worry about the past. His idea and vision of the humanity had written in the comic book with most of us read and understand but he set out to achieve the impossible fiction in the comic book to become possible.
