Everyone who walks through the doors of our school will truly know that they, as individuals matter. Understanding that, as members of the human race, each one of us carries burdens not related to the school organization will allow me to better counsel my faculty, staff, students, and community stakeholders. I want to ensure that each individual knows that they are more than the educationally technical data attached to them. Through trust-based relationships, all things are possible.
Together, with my faculty, we will create a school culture and climate of high expectations, conducive for learning, in which we will provide all students with a rigorous curriculum while providing the necessary support to ensure every student’s success. I will then be able to use the information garnered to focus my energy on garnering support of those whose personal visions and goals are not totally aligned with those I have for the school structure. The actual wording as I walk into that first faculty meeting will be shaped by those conversations I had prior to the year starting. In the grand scheme of things, the framework of that day one faculty meeting would vary from school to school and community to community. With that being said, my vision and mission for all stakeholders would be a constant, the one variable of how to sell the package will be based on the faculty and community stakeholders currently in place at my “new”
