hen you transfigure a source object into something else, you are changing the very structure of that object. At a microscopic level, the molecules (as Muggle scientists have named them) twist and distort and become different. For instance, if you are to transform a matchstick into a needle, the molecules of the matchstick will stretch and twist and transform into the molecules of the needle. When you look at the transfiguration with your human eyes, you will only see the matchstick changing into the needle.

The actual molecules of the matchstick begin to think that they are the molecules of a needle, and take on all those properties, hence the appearance also changes, which is what we are aiming for with transfiguration. With some transfigurations,

Conjuring things out of mid-air is a very advanced form of Transfiguration, as you aren't given an object (with molecules) to begin with. Your main concentration will be directed at the focus word (your end product). Now you need to actually create solid molecules out of the molecules in the air around you. Everything, even air, has it's own set of molecules swirling around you just waiting to be used at your discretion. Your thumb should begin to stretch slightly, it will resist at first as the molecules that have been your thumb for so many years rebel. Remain steadfast and concentrate on what you want to happen. If nothing happens, perform the wand movement again while saying the incantation until you can see and feel the transfiguration begin.

Let's not forget that we've just instructed your thumb to grow. If it does not stop on its own, you will say very forcefully constomuto (stop change) while doing a 'roll cast' for your wand movement. This is the best spell to use when anything goes wrong during a self-transfiguration. I will also keep an eye on you to diffuse any tragic

The rusty colored glaze that encompasses the entire teapot helped in unifying all the aspects, such as the heart and the chains, into a harmonious piece. Additionally, the base of the lid had the same texture as the body which helped in creating a harmonious flow between the two pieces. The transition from a textured body to a smooth surface for the handle and spout, then back to distinct lines on both the handle and spout helped in creating movement and variety within the heart teapot. All the elements and principles helped in creating a teapot that resembled a heart with the abstracted additions of chains and gas…

If this was a charm that may be the case but this is no simple charm, transfiguration requires for thought and preparation for the intended transfiguration to be a success.
