As a transactional leader I believe that there are five core values that one must have in order to inspire success and unity. Control over your team and yourself means that you must develop respect for those that surround you as well as the facility in which you work; without respect you can never work as a single unit and never reach the full potential of the group. A leader must be able to guide the group into the right mindset and environment in order to promote effective communicate, cooperation, and success; and in order to do this the lead must have sufficient knowledge and experience in his/her area of expertise. Not only do they need to have adequate knowledge in their line of work, but they also need to know and understand their weaknesses,
