Trail Brake Narrative

I have to say the last two weekends I have "ah ha" moments on the street and the track. June 18th, the group I ride with rode up through the mountains in Highlands, NC. We always have a fast group and a slow group. I rode with the slow group just to take it easy. After a couple of turns I safely passed some riders and then started to trail brake. Oh my GOODNESS, everything from YCRS came back to me. I got behind a friend and I can tell how he braked in a straight line and have very slow corner speed. On the way back down I got in front of him and, I trailed brake all through the mountains. At the gas station my friend told me he was scared I was going to crash because I was on the brakes, I told him that trail braking you have to be
