Having the promotion and funding from these groups will allow for enough funds to cover the program’s needs. The program will be implemented by those designing it, SW hills community/board members, as well as college students that are willing to help volunteer for a good cause. The program will consist of three events over the course of three months. The first will be held at the beginning of trail 6 where we will have plenty of people to help facilitate and pass out sign up sheets and promotions. Also people to walk along with the participants and be at the end to conclude the walk.

Necessary items will be tables, chairs, clipboards, and pens which will all be stored by the community board member president who is responsible for transporting the equipment to and from events. Inventory of all items will be conducted at setup and tear down of each event, taken by an appointed program leader. Participant attendance will be tracked by a sign in sheet upon arrival before entering the event. Adults who arrive with children under the age of 18 will include that child in their sign in, to help increase the accuracy of tracking. Nearing the final half hour of the event the volunteers will walk around and survey participants on overall experience, satisfaction, and gained knowledge. The results will be tracked by program leaders at the end of each event. The same survey will be available on the program

I would like to be given an opportunity to visit an area different from the city where stars can be seen and birds can be heard. Communication is of essential importance in any workplace, relationship, and gathering, which creates efficient leadership within a group. Towards the closing of my junior year, I was elected to be one of the few student board members to my school’s National Honor Society. The classroom setting is for, four-year-old preschool aged children. The idea behind the preschool comes from Piaget’s theory that children learn by a process of adaptation, assimilation, and then accommodation. During the first step, they interpret new stimulation in ways that fit with what they already know. As the new information assimilates, the existing knowledge modifies and creates a better match.
