Tragic Decision Essay

It was about six years ago when I made this tragic decision that would effect me for about two years. The decision I made back then was not the worst, but it definitely had the longest effect. It all started on a Saturday morning in the little town of Bicknell, Indiana. The morning was calm, no wind, no bird chirping in the trees, and there were not many people out around town. I got out of bed that day feeling pretty good. I, now remember, eating breakfast very quickly that morning. Getting dressed was pretty simple task of the morning. Back then, I did not care what I wore. I just threw on whatever fit and was clean. Nowadays, I put a little more effort into my attire. Then all three of us started talking about basketball. And it turned out that we all, actually had a lot in common. Then we all started shooting from the half-court line. After Adam made his first and only half court shot, he stopped shooting and decided to sit down to take a breather for a while. It was about ten minutes later, that I decided to join him. I sat down and he pulled out a pocket knife to show me. It was a nice looking pocket knife. I told him that I really liked it. It was then that Adam offered to sell me the knife. He seemed pretty cool and I liked the look of the knife, so I bought it, not knowing what was to …show more content…
It was the police and they were wanting to question me about the knife that I had bought from Adam. I answered all their questions honestly and brought the knife out to show them. They then asked me who I had bought the knife from and asked me to describe what he looked like. they asked me who I got it from. The police, then, confiscated the knife from me. Before the police left, I asked them if they could get my money back for me. They told me that they would do their best, however, they could not guarantee
